Bulging Tree Trunk

A cypress growing near the sea.   They get so twisted from the sea breeze.   This one had a peculiar and unbelievable looking bulge  at its base.    The form was sculptural.

A gnarly tree trunk.   I didn’t get to the other parts of the tree because the texture was so complex and beautiful.
